Roosh V Witch-Hunt

Roosh V (real name Daryush Valizadeh), a pick-up artist and neomasculinist, recently tried to host a
worldwide meetup through his website, Return of Kings. I decided that it might be worth attending in my home city of Cardiff, not because I’m into picking up women, or because I’m a ‘neomasculinist’, but because I actually wanted to learn about this group by speaking to those involved. This is called investigative journalism, an archaic method of acquiring information to write and talk about, without actually misrepresenting the views of others. I was in two minds about attending, since I’m a married guy with two young children, that doesn’t really enjoy going out on a Saturday night to bars and clubs anymore. I suspected that this was going to be the plan once people had met at a specified location, between 8-8:20pm local time, in 43 countries around the world. To identify fellow travellers, a special question and answer was required. It was all very Masonic, but alas, it was not to be.

Why? Because the meetups were cancelled after the media literally kicked up a massive stink, amidst the usual accusations of sexism, homophobia, bigotry, etc, denouncing Roosh and his website, Return of Kings. At this point Roosh has been targeted by just about every major mainstream media outlet over the last year. They have repeatedly incited a public so dumbed down that they can’t even begin to see how they’re taking part in a two minute hate session, on a par with Orwell’s depiction of Emanuel Goldstein in 1984. The Independent, the BBC, the Daily Mail - and that’s just the UK. Media all over the world have jumped on the bandwagon, and they all make exactly the same points, accusing him of the usual trendy pejoratives like homophobia and misogyny. But then, nothing about this is surprising to anyone that knows how the media operates.

The mere possibility of Roosh entering a country is enough to spark outrage and protests from politicians, the media, activists and any mindless sycophant partaking in the witch hunt to destroy this man’s life. Australia, New Zealand, Holland, the UK, Canada, and even the USA (where Roosh resides, and therefore a violation of his human rights), are all countries with those demanding that Roosh be barred from entering. It seems these people are determined to resurrect the iron curtain, preventing anyone from penetrating their ideological bubble of safe spaces and the freedom not to be offended.

In all honesty, I’d never really heard of Roosh V until recently. But his growing notoriety has led to me looking him up. I’d heard of game theory and pick-up artists (PUAs) years ago, and I know that this entails a series of techniques to entice women into having sex with men. I can understand why some people find this disagreeable, given that some of these techniques basically involve fooling women until you’ve done your deed and moved on.

Roosh could be described as a scoundrel – the kind of man that defiles your daughter after whispering sweet nothings into her ear, before disappearing into the night and sullying her reputation forever. Let’s be honest, though, pick-up culture is not exactly new or fringe. It’s become a major part of western society ever since the 60’s, and whether people like it or not, the consequence of detaching sex from love and marriage is always going to end up with shallow behaviour that involves men sowing their oats left, right and centre - animals are programmed to either pair-bond, or reproduce with as many different partners as possible. There really is no in-between in this r/K selection dynamic, and if nothing else, PUAs have succeeded in holding up a mirror to society, and showing people how ugly consequence free sex is.

In the civilised veneer of modern society, seeing a man like Roosh brag and publicise his sexual encounters is inevitably going to offend the pious sensibilities of some, and the culturally Marxist worldview of other. More than the former, the latter particularly hate the idea of straight men having consequence free sex with lots of women, and effectively exposing sexual liberation for what it is – a sham to corrupt society and destroy the stability of the nuclear family. Today, unconditional sex is reserved for everyone other than straight males, since Leftists believe that men are obsolete, inferior, and need to be marginalised as much as possible, so women and sexual deviants can run the world. The Left promised ‘free love’ in the 60’s, but there’s nothing free about it. You have to be part of the in-group, and straight men certainly aren’t welcome in this hedonistic circle.

Whether or not you think sex with multiple partners is agreeable, it’s no surprise that Roosh is public enemy number one. Displays of masculine sexual prowess are not part of the proletariat utopia, especially if it involves anyone that’s attracted to women only (what an antiquated idea!). So how have the Left primarily come after this man? Cue drum roll…. they’ve accused him of rape!!! Now I know this is something completely out of the ordinary - the Left never use this tactic. Nonetheless, the mere mention of rape turns human beings into a feral mob, hunting around for someone to crucify or burn. Don’t get me wrong, rape is a horrendous crime, but is it worse than, say, paedophilia, incest, mass murder, communism, or narcissistic sociopaths that lie about people to destroy their lives? I’ll leave you to make your mind up about that.

The accusations all centre around an article that Roosh wrote for his website, called "How To Stop Rape". Might I suggest that people actually read it before making assumptions about what he thinks, because frankly, you’d either have to be stupid or profoundly dishonest to believe that this piece seriously promotes the accusation repeatedly levelled at him – legalising rape on private property. Allow me to explain the subtleties of this satire, as simply as I can:

Roosh was making fun of the way that feminists don’t believe women can ever be responsible for their actions when it comes to sex. This is so ridiculous that they believe women can retract consent to sex after this occurred, merely because they feel like it, regret it, or because they had a few alcoholic beverages prior to sex. Now, there is a grey area for the latter. If she is clearly incapacitated or deprived of her basic faculties, then rape is going to be a concern (although this is still more complicated than it sounds). Then again, the same can be said for women having sex with men. It’s certainly possible for a woman to take advantage when a man is too drunk to care that the woman he’s about to have sex with is being observed through beer goggles that make Lena Dunham look like the sexiest woman alive.

To show just how patently absurd the feminist way of thinking about rape is, Roosh used a satirical thought experiment to propose that, since feminists believe women are incapable of personal responsibility at all times, rape on private property should be legalised, so women will be open to being chaperoned when meeting men they don’t know, or at least be sure they’re ready to consent to sex before they’re alone with a man on private property. Legalising any rape is (as though I need to say it) categorically wrong. But the point of satire is to make fun of real life. Some might say Roosh’s satire wasn’t very good. I’ll leave you to be the judge of that. But the way the media deliberately misrepresent this man’s views, just to get the public to hate him, is absolutely disgusting by any morally decent standard of honesty and respect for the truth.

Particularly hypocritical is the way leftists pretend not to recognise satire. There have been countless occasions when the Left, with the backing of their media cohorts, have used the ‘satire’ and ‘humour’ defence when they’ve overreached (or they just deny something ever happened). One example is the EndFathersDay hashtag. Another is the KillAllWhites hashtag. Anything found on website, the Onion, can basically be put in this category, too.

Worst of all is the way that paedophiles are increasingly given a positive platform on sites like Salon and the Atlantic, as we’re increasingly expected to feel sorry for them. All the while, evil straight males are vilified for exercising their right to freedom of association, by taking part in straight male only groups and meetups (oh, the horror!). As I said earlier, straight males are not part of the in-group, and this is the real reason for Roosh being targeted in such a hysterical manner. You must conform to sexual fluidity if you’re to be accepted, and the thought that your sexuality is defined by your biological urge to reproduce is completely unacceptable to this orthodoxy. Saying that an attraction to children is innate, or that you’re a 6 year-old girl in a 52 year-old man’s body is perfectly fine. But don’t you dare promote any kind of natural masculinity, as in the neomasculinity that Roosh has gradually morphed his PUA community into.

This hatred of masculinity is so deep-rooted that it takes a gay man like Milo Yiannopoulos, or a ‘non-cis bisexual’ woman like Karen Straughan, to get people to sit up and listen to the issues that modern men face. But I have news for people; unless society can actually listen to straight males talk about their own concerns, you’re not going to make any real difference to the misandric culture we live in. Being a man is not pathological. Men are not defective females. If you don’t like men picking up girls, try promoting the family values that ground men, and give them something more than the hedonism that the Left preaches. A lot of people are eventually going to realise that they aren’t included in this perverted world of sexual fluidity and promiscuity. Let’s hope there’s enough brave masculine men left to fight back when these totalitarian freaks turn on you.

  1. I had women coming into my workplace today saying that a man was holding a 'pro rape rally' at the weekend. These were women that I held in some esteem as they are actually competent at their work, but now, I just don't know. Have the levels of left wing stupefication reached this point already? It looks like it.

I tried to point out that a rally of this nature was improbable (to put it mildly) would never get off the ground and that the idea of anything like this gaining traction or generating currency in our culture is absurd. Pretending not to know who Roosch was I asked if they knew who the man trying to hold the rally was....nope they could n't even tell me that!

But the man=rape meme has well and truly embedded itself now.

    1. Good job - you handled that situation well.

This is just another example of how stupid and gullible people have become. The dumbing down of the culture, and lack of critical thought and logic in education have also wreaked havoc with the minds of the public. So I guess we shouldn't be surprised that so many people are too stupid to realise that they are being manipulated by a media that is completely untrustworthy.

Now there's also this new anti-feminist transgender woman called "Blaire White" who's getting hundreds of thousands of views on Youtube. She or he is of course welcome, just an observation now that you brought this subject up.

    1. This phenomenon will solve nothing in the long term. There is no way that a non-straight person, let alone a female, can truly empathise or lobby for the interests of straight men. This has never happened outside of superficial pity. Even Camille Paglia doesn't believe that the family is something that is the domain of natural law. She just likes to kick up a storm, but never really make any changes that alter the gender queer narrative of the modern left.

  4. This is the most organized campaign of personal destruction I've seen in a while. The totalitarian terroristic tendencies of the left exposed when the mask slips. It is official now that rightists have no freedom of assembly.

    1. And it will likely only get worse, until it gets so bad that violence is literally the only recourse left.

    2. Sadly Feminists and manginas are already using violence, as was evidenced wheb Roosh had a drink thrown in his face in a Montreal bar after being recognized. The woman was practically deified for her act of barbarism by the local media, while deprecating Roosh's views and outroght lying about them on Live TV

  5. What we need now is to wait for the young kids to grow up, see the truth and be extremely pissed that they've been lied to. The establishment today won't exist in 30-40 years. Too bad I'm dead by then or the nuclear bombs have made the world inhabitable

    1. Unfortunately, many of these kids will grow into adults that are too invested in the system, and too dumb to fight against it. That's what we see today.

  6. I would also attribute much of whats going on to mighty Obama Bin Laden. 8 years of skewed leftist perception from someone who has little grasp on reality is hard on all of us.

  10. Another whining rebel w/o a cause (or a decent quill) but with a blogette, who comes to the rescue of a lying, manipulating slime ball woman hater and his band of dissatisfied spotty teenagers who can’t get laid!

I’m a white, straight male and can assure you I don’t feel ‘oppressed’ in the slightest. Whatever misandry you see in your head must have been filed next to that kiddy porn you’ve been watching and thought was ‘just satire’.

Those who rightly despise Dooshbag have spoken, as is their right. Turn it into another conspiracy theory, dick head.

    Get a life, loser.

    1. No, you are the sad loser, that needs to pander to sociopaths like a feeble criminal wretch, just to get female attention. It won't work - you will be chewed up and spat out by these harpies, and because you can't get the attention of women you do nothing but lie and defame, for their approval.

There is no chance in hell you will ever achieve the happy family I have. So stop projecting by suggesting everyone is like you.

As for Roosh, the guy isn't perfect by any means, but that gives you no right to lie about him, like the sociopath you are.

You do feel oppressed by those that are better than you, by the way. So you'd rather tear the family down with your lies. In a better time and place you'd be dead in the trenches of war, like the Nazis and Communists who share your collectivist ideology.

Carry on pushing, and that's exactly what will come of your subversion and propaganda. Socialists never win wars.

The next slanderous and fallacious comment from you will be removed.

    2. You do realise that RoK is jam packed with anti-Semites, right? Just a quick browse yesterday yielded 2 A4 pages of the vilest Jew-hating stuff on the Net. Your Shining Knight just can’t get enough of it...

Sounds like Dooshy’s getting a bit tired though. Yesterday he had his baby carrot and two petit pois massaged by two black, fat moustachioed lezzer hos but he got a little premature and jizzed his Dooshyjuice over his quaint little white socks! The lezzers gave him a discount and left the basement belly laughing.

His mutti was quite cross about the sticky stain!

Just satire, innit bro! Just satire...

    3. Nice to see that slander is still your M.O.

Anti-Semites can be found anywhere, not least among the Israel hating Left. You might want to think about that the next time you support the fake Palestinian movement started by a Nazi collaborator, called Haj Amin al-Husseini.
