That's basically a tautology. The Bible is the reference point for how to be Christian. Without it, Christians have no way of knowing what it means to be Christian.
I provided examples in the video, and the link section below it. You'll have to be more specific about that quote because there's no context. Try quoting me with the entire sentence, rather than one part of it.
I know that you are refering to Catholic Church, those links are revealing it. Both sides during Cold war tried to influence Catholic Church and they did not succeed. I dont know did you ever hear about The Doctrinal Warfare Program, here is a link to article that explains it: http://www.veteranstoday.com/2016/03/18/how-the-cias-doctrinal-warfare-program-changed-the-catholic-church/
Quote: "Evil can only reign supreme when people become incapable of any individual judgement of truth and morality". I just wanted to know are you actually debating moral relativism ("Morals are subjective, like ice cream preferences. ") Link:http://www.allaboutphilosophy.org/moral-truth.htm
You say the Catholic Church wasn't influenced by communism, but the current Catholic Church has been perverted by the compassionate Christ socialist narrative of the KGB. You cannot compel people to charity in Christianity because Jesus preached freewill.
Thank you Cid, just as I thought. I guess this ends our little discussion. I am quite sure your attitude towards Roman Catholic Church is even worse than the one you presented here so I will leave you now with your KGB-Illuminati-Lizard man theories. Take care man!
Yes take care, and thank you for providing nothing more than ad hominems as a cover for cognitive dissonance. It's very un-Christian to put a church before what the Bible says. In fact, it's idolatry. If you identify as an institutional Catholic before you identify as a Christian, then you're epitomising what I criticise in this video.
Excellent Cid. You put it in plain words, effectively. I shall 'spread the word', sir.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Chris. I imagine that this video was right up your street.
DeleteChristianity is never an expression of the Bible; The Bible is an expression of Christianity.

DeleteWhat Christian organizations subvert the scripture and what did you mean by expression: "individual judgement of truth and morality"?

DeleteYes, I am arguing against moral relativism.
